Data Analytics

As our work is being increasingly digitised, data analytics is becoming part the managerial toolbox. Labour Analytics is based on the simple, yet provocative idea that worker data could also be used to advocate for workers collective interests. By building data tools and services for workers and their unions to improve worker conditions, Labour Analytics level the playing field between managers and workers when it comes to data.

Stig Nyman

Stig Nyman holds a PhD from Copenhagen Business School in information systems on workplace datafication. Labour Analytics was born from observations in his research that made him question why it is so often assumed that data collection is intended as means for supporting the management of workers.

This project is supported by Spin-outs Denmark, a unique program that invests in researchers who create more impact by starting research-based companies.
