Construction projects often go overtime and overbudget due to unforeseen ground conditions on site. CPTu test is frequently used for soil properties assessment; however, the results could be biased due to poor saturation of the part of the equipment used. We develop a unique solution, a patented B-test tool for the saturation measurement that could prevent obtaining wrong CPTu data, thus saving time and resources of construction project owners.
