The green transition demands the development of magnetic components. Innovations and groundbreaking concepts in the field of magnetics are emerging on the commercial front. At AAU Energy, host insitute to the Center of Advanced Power Magnetics (CAPM), we possess cutting-edge technologies that we believe ‘DanMag’ will leverage to elevate our expertise in magnetics to a commercial level.
‘DanMag’ is dedicated to manufacturing the next generation of power magnetic components r in Denmark. Our aim is to deliver power magnetic components with superior quality, reduced costs, and less leading time. These endeavors will be made possible by our unique insights and patented inventions. ‘DanMag’ will provide customized magnetic solutions to our industry customers, thus accelerating the green transition of society.

Hongbo Zhao

Hongbo Zhao received the Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics from Aalborg University, Denmark in 2021. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin and a visiting researcher at the University of Galway. Currently, he is a Postdoc Researcher at Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He received the Villum Fellowship in 2022 as the recipient the Villum Experiment Grant. His research interests include high-frequency modeling and analysis of high-power magnetics and filters, as well as medium-voltage power electronics applications. He was the organizer for 4 tutorials, and has been invited for giving around 10 presentations.

This project is supported by Spin-outs Denmark, a unique program that invests in researchers who create more impact by starting research-based companies.
