Greenlight is a dynamic, scalable SaaS platform designed to streamline and revolutionize the film industry’s casting shortlisting process by enhancing decision-making, reducing pre-production time, and ensuring GDPR compliance.

Developed from the Scenario Maker tool, Greenlight transforms this critical pre-production task into a more efficient, transparent, and scalable process. The platform directly addresses the inefficiencies of traditional shortlisting methods, which rely on spreadsheets, scattered communications, and external databases, resulting in delays, misalignment, and inflated costs.

The casting industry currently faces significant challenges in managing hundreds of talent profiles, reels, and auditions, especially in productions of all sizes. This process is labor-intensive, lacks transparency, and often leads to communication gaps between directors, producers, and clients. Additionally, ensuring GDPR compliance while handling sensitive talent data adds another layer of complexity. Greenlight resolves these pain points by providing a centralized, user-friendly interface that organizes data and facilitates seamless collaboration among all stakeholders.

Unlike other tools which focus on talent databases and contract management, Greenlight is designed specifically to optimize shortlisting—a crucial yet overlooked aspect of casting. It replaces outdated spreadsheets with a visual platform that enhances decision-making, saves time, and reduces costs. By enabling clearer communication and a more organized workflow, Greenlight ensures that all stakeholders are aligned in their casting decisions.

Building on the interactive audiovisual content management capabilities of Scenario Maker, Greenlight is designed to be intuitive and accessible to a wide range of users without technical expertise. Its scalability makes it suitable for small productions, such as commercials and TV shows, while also meeting the demands of larger film projects. The platform is poised to disrupt the $1.4 billion U.S. casting industry by offering a solution that addresses the real pain points experienced by casting agents, production companies, and commercial enterprises.

Greenlight’s SaaS (Software as a Service) model is priced according to the number of talents shortlisted and the production size, allowing for flexibility and scalability. This aligns with the typical expenses of casting processes, offering a cost-effective solution that grows with the production’s needs.

With its unique value proposition, user-friendly interface, and focus on efficiency, Greenlight promises to be a game-changing tool that will redefine how the casting industry approaches shortlisting.
