Authenticity & Trend Forecasting

influlytics is a PhD spin-out R&D project, that is developing an algorithm for independent screening of thousands of relevant influencers, that also measures authenticity and humour. Hereby making the influencer selection more democratic and authentic. Our first prototypes of our algorithms, independently scanned thousands of relevant influencers for the art museums in Denmark, and identified the top20 most authentic and fun influencers.

Our algorithms for measuring authenticity have been expanded to measure on social media content, news and ads. Combined with research based social media analytics, we have developed analysis identifying factors why some brands are hot and trendy in some regions and not in other regions.

I have worked as data scientist for Oxford University and Wunderman Thompson. I have done predictive modelling for iPhone, H&M, Mikkeller, Roskilde Festival and many other brands.

After my PhD “The predictive Power of social media data”, I started influlytics.com, where we measure authenticity and identify all factors determining why some brands are hot and trendy in some regions and not in others.

This project is supported by Spin-outs Denmark, a unique program that invests in researchers who create more impact by starting research-based companies.
