Virtual Engineering

ModuMach is a virtual engineering house focusing on state-of-the-art agile solutions for discrete manufacturing systems. Machine builders, integrators, and manufacturers face tremendous challenges in keeping up with the rapid changes and requirements that originate in Industry 4.0. Here, many resources and much effort are directed toward virtual engineering, making it non-viable for most SMEs, who miss out on valuable opportunities. Our solutions make virtual engineering easy, faster, and quicker without exhausting existing resources.

Jesper Puggaard de Oliveira Hansen is finishing his PhD, on Adaptable Automation driven by Simulation and Digital Twins in the context of Agile Production Systems.
The experimental results from the PhD, alongside prior industrial experience, have enabled the pursuit of this spin-out due to an apparent lack of sufficient maturing in virtual engineering related to production systems in the discrete manufacturing industry.

This project is supported by Spin-outs Denmark, a unique program that invests in researchers who create more impact by starting research-based companies.
