SmartSens is debottlenecking bioprocesses with a radically new technology for continuous and real-time monitoring of small molecules in biosolutions relevant for biotech industry and biomanufacturing. The sensing technology includes bio-free electrochemical elements utilizing sensitive nanomaterials, delivering ultra sensitivity and selectivity. The main applications are in bioreactors across scales. This technology enables automation and data-driven decision-making to enhance process performance and efficiency.

Aliyeh Hasanzadeh

Aliyeh Hasanzadeh is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark, specializing in biosensors for bioprocess monitoring. She is focused on developing miniaturized electrochemical sensors for real-time analysis in biomanufacturing, driving innovation in process optimization and automation.
